Our Junior Rowing Program is open to boys and girls 12-18 years old of Anderson and Knox Counties.  Our focus is to develop rowing skills and fitness toward performance.  The program emphasizes athletic development, teamwork, communication, leadership, and preparation for competition. All sessions are coached and rowers will be supervised at all times during practice times.

2017 Fall Season

Clinton Rowing is looking to host its 2017 Fall Head Race season. The spring season is comprised of 5000 meter head races. CRC will offer both on and off the water coached practice sessions, to build endurance, strength, and fitness for each and every athlete. No experience is required to join! Should there be interest, the rowers will look to compete at the Secret City Head Race, hosted by Oak Ridge Rowing Association, in October.

Competitive Program


This program introduces beginner rowers to basic competitive rowing.  No prior rowing experience required. Youth Novice Rowing is a prerequisite for our Varsity rowing programs.


Our Youth Varsity Rowing team is not for beginners and it is recommended that participants have at least one year of coached rowing instruction prior to joining.

  • Program fees do not include travel cost, regatta fees or uniforms.

Code of Conduct

This document presents guidelines for maintaining such an atmosphere during practices, regattas, and other club sponsored events. By completing the registration process and submitting payment of club fees, each athlete agrees to adhere to and uphold the following rules as an athlete representing Clinton Rowing Club.
